The mountainous island of Rhodes is dotted with numerous torrents and springs, some therapeutic and some containing mineral waters. With the best sunshine record in all of Greece, the island’s climate is mild and healthy with minimal humidity. Beaches are sandy, safe and ideal for swimming, boating and watersports.
If the island’s beauty and warm and friendly population are not enough, visitors will find history and archaeological sites dating as far back as the Stone Age, and the unique Valley of the Pegaloudhes (Butterflies) should not be missed by visitors between June and September when thousands of butterflies take refuge in this lovely haven. |
